The Mystical Life – J H M Whiteman
(June 12, 1954) After a somewhat dreamlike beginning, in which I seemed to be seated on a chair, everything became clear and objective and I found myself, aged about 12 years, with a beautiful baby girl, about 2 years old, on my Iap. She sat facing left, with my arms partly round her.
She was entirely without clothes, as if after a bath, and the beauty of the skin particularly on her arms and back filled me with admiration and love.
The colour of the flesh was astonishing and indescribable, while her arms and shoulders were formed with a perfect baby-like beauty. With a feeling almost of worship I lovingly touched her shoulders and back gently with my lips several times. On sitting up straight again I obscurely felt and saw myself wearing a loosely-fitting garment like a blouse. The separation then came almost imperceptibly to an end, while much of the feeling of joy remained.
A minute or two later I found myself looking at another girl baby, this time less than three months old, in long white clothes and lying on her side in a cot. She was not under blankets, but was lying on a white sheet facing me. Her eyes were of a vivid blue shade, and I looked at them for several seconds, while she looked at me, as babies sometimes do, with curious interest and a contented smile.
