Background

A description of the experience

Mary Rose Barrington, Ian Stevenson and Zofia Weaver, A World in a Grain of Sand: The Clairvoyance of Stefan Ossowiecki,  2005.

Formal experiments – Experiment no 2 [extract]

……What makes it even more interesting to me is that M. Ossowiecki told me precisely, and in detail, everything that I had done when I went out of the room; he told how I had stood there for a moment or two, then turned right, sat on the banquette; in which direction I turned my head and how I had rested my book on the banquette, etc.-all as if he had been there with me and had seen what had happened. Furthermore, he had told all these details to the people who were with him in the room before my return.

So that would be clairvoyance! M. Ossowiecki really seems to possess all the supernormal faculties!

The records of the experiment, signed by all those who were present, are held at the Psychophysical Society of Warsaw. I should like to end this report by expressing profound gratitude to M. Ingenieur Stefan Ossowiecki whose generosity his made it possible for us to accomplish these interesting experiments. If his kindness to our Society is not exhausted, I hope to carry out with him an experiment that I have devised which, I think, has not yet been done. I shall not fail to report the outcome to the IMI.
