Background
The symbolism of the lion, when applied to people and on the positive side, is of a slow, dignified, noble, trustworthy, strong, powerful and wise person. They can also be said to be generous and warm hearted, creative and enthusiastic; broad-minded and expansive; faithful and loving. Furthermore, a ‘lion person’ has virility, strength, and courage, the ‘lion person’ is the ultimate protector of the weak and the sacred.
BUT they do not like to be caged in – fenced in – if they feel themselves being trapped by a relationship or a friendship or similar, they rebel and pace about like ‘a caged lion’, aching to be free.
