Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

In the autumn of 1907,  Max Heindel travelled to Berlin in Germany with his friend Dr. Alma Von Brandis, to hear a cycle of lectures by Rudolf Steiner. During his short stay at Germany, he is reported ‘to have been visited by a Spiritual being’.  The so called spiritual being however, did a lot of talking which means it was probably a bodied soul.

If the communication is in words and sentences it is a bodied or disembodied soul.  If the communication is symbolic, or uses words as puns, or is simply a ‘thought’ without words – an impression conveyed, communication is with a Spirit being , Spirit helper or Intelligence.

A description of the experience

“The highly evolved entity that visited Heindel eventually identified himself as an Elder Brother of the Rosicrucian Order, an Order in the inner worlds formed in the year 1313 and having no direct connection to physical organizations which call themselves by this name. As he afterwards mentions, the Elder Brother gave him information which was concise and logical and beyond anything he was capable of writing”.
