I am part of a spiritual exploration group that meets about once a month to share techniques and experiences.
One month our leader invited a Native American shaman to perform a sacred ceremony for us. It was during the drumming session that I felt myself spinning uncontrollably toward the ceiling.
As I looked down, I found myself - my body – lying on a blanket, like it was in a trance. It was so scary, and I popped back, right away. I wanted to sit up and tell everyone what had just happened, but I couldn’t move.
