Observations placeholder

Now the River has foaming rapids and I must somehow overcome them. The water froths and churns violently. It is shallow but powerful. I stand up in it, only just managing to keep my balance. I walk forward with the foaming water pushing at my ankles. I am naked as usual with golden body and strangely I have an erection.

I look down and hanging from my erection is a golden cord. I keep ploughing on through the foaming water. It gets deeper and calmer and I immerse myself and start again my strong swimming. I put my face into the water and look down. On the river bed I see a bright shining stone. I swim down to it and feel an amazing heat coming from it. 

A hand comes up from the river bed and grasps the stone. It pushes up to my face. I open my mouth and the stone is pushed into it. I close my mouth around the stone and swim to the surface. I power on against the current: the hot sun on my back. I am breathing through my nose because the stone fills my mouth.

I come to a pool into which is pouring a waterfall. I tread water looking around. The pool is full of nymphs. I reach into my mouth and remove the stone. It is a black rough-formed crystal: heavy and shining. The nymphs crowd together and stare at the stone. They sing again: 

"Come again to the hot rock
feel the heat on your head.
We will come to your hard rock
