Do you know that my cat Horace
Paints himself to fool the goldfish
Bands of gold and bands of blue
Takes him hours (nought else to do)
And does it fool those little tiddlers?
Nope, it don’t - so then my fiddler
Paints on eyes of white and black
He says to see behind his back
And does this work?, well oddly yes
Cos when he turns to leave – well bless!
The fish all leap into his tummy
With a single cry of ‘Mummy!!’
