In this picture from the Internet we see a gifted shaman with his ‘halo’ symbolically representing the fact he has merged with the higher spirit.
The photo was taken at a ceremony, where ‘the aboriginal elder played a didgeridoo to awaken the spirits of the land’.
The ceremony was performed to call in rain to the drought parched country, and successfully too – it showered later that night.
