Background
A description of the experience
Troon [Adapted from a poem by Heinrich Heine]
Now the eastern sky grows brighter
And the dawn’s first light is paling
Far and wide the hills of Troon
In a sea of cloud are sailing
Over those far hills of Troon
I would fly with wings to guide me
To the house of my beloved
Faster than the wind I’d fly me
From the bed wherein he slumbers
I would softly draw the curtain
Softly I would kiss his forehead
Kiss his lovely lips for certain
And yet softer would I whisper
In his ear and in the other
Dream that still we’re happy lovers
Will never never lose each other
