Lakeland
On Lakeland’s shores there in the shade
Beneath the trees reclined a maid
Who lifted up her dress (she said)
To keep the sunbeams off her head
A hundred times they kissed and then
They stopped only to start again
A thousand times did they embrace
His hands were fast around her waist
He held her face – would not let go
She tried to say ‘oh no, oh no,
But through the kiss no sound would come
