Recovering the Ancient Magic – Max Freedom Long

Under, my Japanese friend's guidance I came upon what was, to me, only a continuation of earlier experiences. I must have dozed off after an early awakening in the morning, for I dreamed that I was sitting beside a friend who was dying. Beside the bed stood a strange dark man whom I seemed to know very well indeed. I asked him if I might go with my dying friend and share his experience in death.

The brown man smiled his benignant smile and instructed me to clasp both of the hands, which were growing cold.  I did this, and at once felt the sensation of flying through a vastness of space which was filled with amber light.

Then the familiar thing happened. I ceased to be a man and became that amber light. It was the old story of perfection and of thrilling bliss unmarred by time, place, memories, thought or physical sensation...........
