This is symbolic - the carcass of the lion is the intellect once you have subdued it, the bees in this case are not a swarm of out of body travellers [!] but an indication that once you have subdued the intellect you might get a spiritual experience because one of the main indicators is the humming sound, and the reference to honey is using honey as meaning spiritual input.
Thus once you have subdued the [lion of] the intellect - reason and memory, - you will be able to have a spiritual experience marked by the humming sound that indicates a great input of spiritual energy
