Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

Dreams are strange things, they are symbolic and are intended to help you - lessons - or they can be out of body experiences.

Niels Bohr interpreted his dream as the structure of the atom, it gave him inspiration.  But it could equally well have been showing him both the structure of the egg - the universe spiritual and physical, as well as the atom.  Atom and egg are copies, every object however big or however small mirrors the others, thus every object has this spiritual structure - see the comments of Plato and the observations on the movement of the spheres.

Since then physicists have developed this odd picture of an atom and universe that is essentially physical in nature, but Bohr at no time said that the atom is a physical thing .

I have added a link to the unit of energy, as Bohr believed it was like a spinning top

A description of the experience

Breakthrough to Creativity – Dr Shafica Karagulla

Niels Bohr the well known atomic scientists had a strange dream in his student days.  He dreamed that he was on a sun which consisted of burning gas.  There were planets that moved swiftly around this sun attached by thin filaments.  When he awoke he had the model of the atom which is substantially the same today.
