A description of the experience

A Casebook of Otherworldly Music – D Scott Rogo

This case reported by H. D. Jencken is one of the oldest on record within the span of organized research, and was given as testimony for the Report on Spiritualism of the Committee of the London Dialectical Society, 1873. The brief case merely states,

“At the passing away of an old servant of our household, a strain of solemn music at about four in the morning, was, by the nurse and servants, heard in the room of the dying woman; the music lasting fully twenty minutes."
