Into the Light – Fay Marvin Clark
I would like to add that there may be a fourth type of dream, and that I feel it is far more common occurrence than one might believe. This is the "out-of-body-experience" (OOBE).
I have personally investigated dreams of this type and have experienced one such dream while under an anesthetic that proved for me that under certain conditions the astral or psychic body can, and often does, leave the physical body and have experiences of its own. Upon returning to the physical body these experiences are usually considered dreams.
