Premonitions in children are always of interest because of the innocent nature of this type of thought. Mr. Herman Snyman reported in Die Vaderland se Sondagblad the foreboding vision of a four-year old.
“Little Deon Els came running out of breath into his mother's room, very excited with wide staring eyes. ‘Mammy, the four-year old boy called out. I have just seen Daddy. He was with me in the room and he said that he was coming to fetch me before the end of the year.’
Fifteen hours later Deon was involved in a motor-car accident and died under narcosis in hospital. His father had died a few months before Deon."
