Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

This is music for meditation and relaxation.  As it is not in standard pitch and has no set melody, one cannot follow a melody, and thus it does not involve the memory or reason, one can lie back and let it flow over you without attempting to analyse it or understand all its intricate themes.  No words either on which to ponder - the perfect befuddling music.

My only concern is that there appears to be some use [not much]  - and I stand to be corrected - of infrasound, which since it works by resonance may well induce spiritual experience, but is potentially not safe, unless Eno knows his frequencies.

A description of the experience

Eno, Brian – The Shutov Assembly

Eno released The Shutov Assembly, in 1992, recorded between 1985 and 1990. This album embraces atonality and abandons most conventional concepts of modes, scales and pitch. Much of the music shifts gradually and without discernible focus, and is one of Eno's most varied ambient collections. Conventional instrumentation is eschewed, save for treated keyboards.
