For our next gas celebration, during the winter holiday season, we decided that something had to be done to eliminate the greediness that occurs at large gatherings and the anxiousness which comes about while waiting for the hose to pass around the circle and back to your turn.
We bought some balloons, filled them from the tank and passed them around. Not only did this make it possible for any number of people to experience the high simultaneously, but it conserved the gas and eliminated the danger of someone losing consciousness and continuing to receive nitrous oxide into their body from the steady source of the tank. Although this danger was a fairly remote one, we found the balloons to be a reassuring change in our procedure.
