A description of the experience

The Art of Dying – Drs Peter and Elizabeth Fenwick

Before my husband died, a friend had told me that she had seen the ghost of her sister at the time of her sister's death. That scared me a bit.

My husband was very close to death, and as much as I loved him I didn't know how I would react if I saw his ghost, so I telepathically sent him a message saying I didn't want to see him, but please could he ring me.

He died in the early hours of the morning, and that morning as I was just waking up, I dreamed that I heard the phone ring, and I answered it and his voice said, 'Hi'. He sounded very well and very cheerful. A little while later the hospice where he was staying rang me to say he had passed away. All of this has convinced me that there has to be something more after this life.
