A description of the experience

Love is the Link – Dr Pamela Kircher

The grieving process was much easier for a middle-aged woman who was with her father when he died. Her mother had died several years earlier and she was feeling very sad contemplating being without parents. Right before he died, her father smiled broadly and said, "I'm coming across the river, Honey. Wait for me!" Then he died.

The grieving daughter remembered that smile on his face for the rest of her life.
