A description of the experience
The experience I had at this time was total beauty. To go through the pain and all up to that point, well I don't think I could go through it again, but at the end it was so beautiful that I am not afraid of it.
It was total peacefulness.
The light was extremely bright but it wasn't a harsh light. I don't know if I was conscious of the lights in the operating room or whether it was a vision, I have no way of knowing one way or another. I have no recollection of any events leading up to this experience, I just found myself in this extremely bright light and felt absolute peace. I feel the light and the peace were one.
All I know is that I was there, I'm not afraid of it and that it's something beautiful. I just can't explain it. I don't remember how I got there, just that I was suddenly in the light and it was beautiful. I had no sense of separate identity. I was in the light and one with it
