Childhood, and the many mysterious happenings that truly characterize it, is extremely interesting.
Sometimes the brave adult reflects upon it, even drawing from it certain assurances that can be found nowhere else.
As a child I used to watch with great fascination the fluttering forms of color sparkling from objects and people - from my mother, father, grandmothers, and ordinary people, as well as from caterpillars, leaves, rocks, and so forth.
As might be expected, describing these marvellous rainbows and energetic flares to my peers left me very impressed with the fact that one was not supposed to see such things, and certainly not talk about them if one did.
