There are good reasons why perceptions [and memory] are in general specific to us and not generally accessible to others. One reason is simply that it is a form of safeguard on our sanity.
Robert Monroe was able to access the ‘field’ as he called it, where perceptions have left the soul and are in the spiritual world at large. But what he found was not at all pleasant, which is presumably why we are generally protected by the composer from access to any form of ‘common conscious’ perceptions.
There are a huge number of events witnessed just in our history by people which have been ‘hellish’. The holocaust, the inquisition, the black death and the plague. Every act of cruelty to an animal gets imprinted on the thoughts and perceptions of animals too . Every victim of rape, incest, genocide, paedophilia, fraud, theft, murder, violence registers these thoughts and they become ‘imprinted’ in effect, recorded in the spiritual realm. The collective perceptions are thus not only not all sweetness and light, they can be quite terrifying
There are also other reasons why perceptions are protected. If you knew that others could easily really 'read your mind' without your permission, then you would be almost incapable of functioning.
Furthermore, we and the world about us operates and works because we are capable of 'keeping secrets'. Without this ability to protect perceptions and memory there would be no games [chess would be out for example], no businesses [trade secrets would be incapable of being kept or idea], and relationships between people would be really difficult.

Most human M field energy is not love and light. To participate openly in this energy, in phase with all of it, could be devastating. Thus a form of shielding developed automatically as insulation. When and if leaks occur in the form of inadvertent phasing – emotional thinking – we become exposed to an incredible amount of discordant and dangerous radiation.

Group thought, especially when it is primarily emotion inducing, can be highly contagious, owing to the extreme amplitude of the radiation. Conversely the organised [M] field radiation of a single individual can, if broad banded enough, be many thousand times greater than that of the group. Whatever the source, reception can influence any mind and/or body that contains resonant receptors.
