The Hourglass

Let me now take the map of the egg and simplify it a bit.  Below you can see that I have added each of our cones of energy round the edges and left the central ‘master’ portion where all the Intelligences are in the centre.  I have also cordoned off half of the Egg, because this will be necessary in the explanation.

What you have left is something that looks like a chalice or a cup and so – in figurative terms it is.

Our cone intersects with the cup of the central Creator portion of the Egg via our Higher Spirit

Via this link, and only via this link we get various forms of spirit input.  It is symbolically referred to as ‘cooling energy’ and represented by the colour blue.  What is perhaps rather fun is it also ‘feels’ cool, it is extraordinarily soothing once the gate is opened [your crown chakra].  As a receiver of healing energy I can vouch for this.

But we are highly active of course and our functions are busy working away and what they are producing is Spirit output, particularly our Perceptions – the log of everything we are doing all the emotions, all the aches pains and thoughts.

Perceptions and other form of Spirit output go ‘up’ into the cup of the central Creator portion of the Egg.

This upward travelling energy is symbolically shown as red and described as ‘hot’ energy or heating energy.  This too can be felt, the symbolism appears to be based on real experience, as the expression ‘having  a burn out’ testifies, we work ourselves and our mind into such a frazzle that no cooling energy of any kind gets though and we collapse denied of spiritual input.  We ‘burn out’.

We do, it appears, have a little store of cooling energy within us, that tides us over for the lean times, but it only last so long.  Deny yourself the blue cooling energy and you end up ill, depressed, grief stricken, exhausted  – or dead.
