Common steps and sub-activities

Jumping

The Shakers shake, the Quakers quake, the Hesychasts quiver, the Subudders subud!! And the people in the Welsh Methodists revival of the eighteenth century jumped! There are still Methodists in Wales, but they don’t jump anymore – more’s the pity.

Jumping worked very effectively. It probably still would work if it was tried. The movement collapsed once its leaders had gone or died.

See the Welsh revivalists for more information on the background to the movement and a hint on how long you have to do the jumping.
